Castle Acre is a conservation area of unspoilt natural beauty, in undulating countryside beside the River Nar, attracting many visitors to its mediaeval Priory ruins, Castle ruins, Church and historic Roman road, Peddars Way.
The village has 2 tearooms, 2 pubs and shops and is centrally situated for visiting a wealth of places including Royal Sandringham, Holkham Hall, north Norfolk beaches and coastal walks, Norfolk Broads, Kings Lynn, Norwich, Ely and Cambridge.
ROSE COTTAGE and BURSLEM APARTMENT

Rose Cottage is in a quiet lane known as Pales Green. It is an extremely comfortable, attractive, well maintained and equipped 18th century traditional 2-bedroomed Norfolk flint cottage which has all the modern conveniences but still retains some of its original features.
The comfortable beamed lounge has a cast iron log burner, which leads into the spacious fully fitted and equipped kitchen/diner and from this into the pretty enclosed rear garden, equipped with garden furniture.
Upstairs is the beamed and tastefully decorated double bedroom, twin-bedded room and fully fitted bathroom with over-bath electric shower.
Parking is directly opposite the cottage.

Burslem Apartment is completely private, self-contained, ground floor accommodation which has level wheel-chair access and is adjacent to the owner's property in North Street.
The apartment is modern, comfortable and well maintained throughout with lounge/diner, fully fitted and equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and bathroom with over-bath electric shower.
Outside there is small enclosed seating area and off-road parking adjacent to the apartment.
Both properties are heated electrically and this is included in the tariff.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided on request for an extra £10 per room.
Saturday change-over - arrival from 2pm, departure by 10am.
A 25% deposit is required on booking.
Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
